Reach underneath the top layer, and pull this side of the vase out.

Straighten the side into shape, and turn the vase model around.

Pull the edges outwards, so that the whole row is straight.

Getting the sides of the vase out can a little tricky. You will warp the paper a bit, and that is just fine. Reach under the first layer, and grab hold of the sides.

Turn the model over so that we can tease the sides of the vase out.

Crease the locks very well. All of the folding for your vase model is complete. The rest involves popping the model into shape.

Valley fold the vase locks outwards, locking the model into shape.

Slide the flaps on the left and right sides under the pockets created by all this folding, so that the vase locks match up.

Valley fold the top and bottom edges of the vase model to meet in the center.

Valley fold the left and right edges of the vase model to meet in the middle.
